For Keyla’s portrait session, the rolling golden grasslands of Sonoita gave us the perfect backdrop: wide-open skies, rustic textures, and dreamy, sun-kissed fields.
Meet Keyla – Future Pilot & Dream Chaser
Keyla is headed off to school to pursue her dream of becoming a pilot, and this session was all about celebrating who she is right now—ambitious, stylish, and full of light. We planned her session to highlight that glow, giving her the space to be herself while also showing off her confidence and joy.
She brought several outfit changes that flowed beautifully with the rustic barn and golden light. From modern denim to soft, earthy neutrals, every look brought out her natural beauty and quiet strength.
WHY SONOITA IS A HIDDEN GEM FOR SENIOR PHOTOS
While I often photograph seniors in Sierra Vista and Tucson, Sonoita is one of my favorite hidden gems for portraits. The golden fields in the late afternoon light are absolutely magical. We also made use of an abandoned barn, which added rustic charm and contrast to the soft desert tones.
